| George R. Cross, PhD is the Chief
Technology Officer

based in Littleton, MA that operates the
school fundraising portal www.technology4kids.com
He previously was CTO at Information Technology Systems, Inc., an Internet Service Provider and consulting firm specializing in database-driven
web sites. Prior to that he was a Principal Member of the Technical
Staff at GTE Labs in Waltham in telecommunications service
design and Principal Scientist at the Contel Technology Center in Chantilly, Virginia
in the knowledge-based
systems applications group. He has taught Computer Science at Washington State University and
Louisiana State University and has done research in Information Retrieval, Artificial
Intelligence, and Image Processing. He received his PhD in Computer Science from Michigan
