| Abstract: The case-based reasoning component of the legal expert system Trademark Reasoning and Retrieval System (TR2S) is described. This includes a formal language (RDL - Relational Description Language) for describing trademark infringement cases and the arguments presented in court decisions. Indexing principles useful for arranging a case memory are developed. The representation of an example is given. |
