| Abstract: We seek to enumerate the principles underlying trademark infringement case decisions and to embody these principles in a computational form. We then model the legal arguments and retrieve cases relevant to a current litigation. Cases are converted to an internal representation and a new case can be compared on a deep conceptual level to prior cases. Examples are shown of the represenation language for cases, some typical interesting cases, and the indexing rules which can be used to retrieve cases. |
