Krallmann, Erich Schmidt Verlag, 75-83, Berlin, 1986.Abstract: This research seeks to develop an intelligent computer program that functions as an assistant in making marketing decisions. The research questions revolve around the conversion of marketing strategies to a form that can be used by a program. A preliminary version of this system currently functions as an intelligent player in a simulation game with encouraging results. The research questions now being worked on involve fundamental representational questions of business knowledge and the expansion of the prototype system into a form usable for real-world problem solving.
